Trademark Art Chris Paschke &Gilded Arcs II& Gallery-Wrapped Canvas Art

Description

The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Chris Paschke's comfort with the Sumi brush and continuing study with Asian masters have brought her 'lovingly into the world of passive, peaceful Zen concepts, and the simplicity of an Asian artist'. Many trips to China have fueled her desire to learn more about the art form, and have led her to create a living environment in the mountains of central California. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features streaks of gold and black on a grey and beige background. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
