Smith Maze MIPS Helmet Matte Charcoal Small

Description

The Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) allows a small rotation of the outer shell relative to the liner when your head hits at an angle in order to decrease rotational forces, reducing potential damage to your brain. In-Mold construction fuses EPS foam to a polycarbonate shell to minimize weight and bulk without compromising impact protection. AirEvac 2 ventilation keeps your goggles fog-free, while the removable goggle lock keeps them in place. Snapfit SL2 ear pads can be removed during heated park sessions, and they're Skullcandy audio system-compatible (sold separately) so you can turn up the jams while you surf powder stashes. How about a new system that reduces potential brain injuries without adding extra bulk or weight? The Airflow climate control system lets you crank open the vents on warm spring days and intense hikes, and the self-adjusting fit system offers a comfy, secure fit. The Smith Maze MIPS Helmet offers the same ultra-light feel and minimalist look as the original, but with an added safety system that improves protection. What could possibly make the world's lightest certified snow helmet better?
