Applications include protecting and anchoring wiring in the photography and film industry; bookbinding; vinyl school bus seat repair; wrapping or bundling of wire, metals, and plastics; protecting and anchoring electrical wiring; and moisture and dust-proof sealing of equipment cases and film canisters. Low VOC content and contributes toward satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials Adhesives & Sealants) under LEED. Also referred to as Nashua 510 Gaffers Tape (Polyken and Nashua are both sub-brands of Berry Plastics). 510 is designed for exterior weather and temperature applications. It also has a softer adhesive than most other gaffers tapes so it adheres better to carpets. High tack tape with adhesion for performance. Non-reflective backing for low gloss. Retains flexibility and conformability in both low and high temperature applications. Clean removal adhesive. High thread count for a clean tear (tear may still be on an angle though).
