Arai Pro Shade System

Description

When raised, the shield works like a peak, and minimizes glare when the sun is higher in the sky. The movable portion of the shield is designed to break away easily in the event of an impact and does not compromise the energy management capability engineered into the helmet shell. Enhance your ride with the Arai Pro Shade system, a convenient way to block light and still keep your hands right where they need to be. Add the Pro Shade system to any Arai helmet with an SAI-type shield and get additional benefits you didn't even realize you needed. Replaces the face shield of any Arai helmet that uses the SAI-type shield (Defiant and Vector-2 Helmets). When raised, the shield works like a peak, and minimizes glare when the sun is higher in the sky. Lowering the shield reduces the amount of light entering the helmet, particularly beneficial when the sun is lower in the sky.
